Determine the slope between the points $(14.2, - 6.3)$ and $(- 5.8, - 7.9)$ .

$(14.2, - 6.3), (- 5.8, - 7.9) m = \frac{y_{2} - y_{1}}{x_{2} - x_{1}} = \frac{- 7.9 - (- 6.3)}{- 5.8 - 14.2} m = \frac{- 1.6}{- 20} = \frac{8}{100} = 0.08$

Determine the missing x-value given $(6.2, 1), (x, 0.7),$ and $m = 0.3 .$
